This Privacy Policy explains how TopPick Reviews ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit https://www.toppick-reviews.techbridge.top/ (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Usage data: when you view a page we record the page viewed, the date and time, your browser user-agent and device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), the website that referred you, whether an ad blocker is active, and an anonymised IP address (the last part of the address is removed). From the IP address (or, if unavailable, your device's time zone) we derive your approximate country only. We do not determine your city or precise location. Unique visitors are counted with a one-way code that changes every day; we do not use cookies for this.
- Information you send us: if you use our contact page, we receive your name, email address and message.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see section 3.
We honour “Do Not Track” and “Global Privacy Control” browser signals by not storing per-visit analytics records for those visitors.
2. How we use information
- To operate, maintain and improve the Site and understand which content is useful;
- To respond to your enquiries;
- To display advertising and measure affiliate referrals;
- To protect the Site against abuse and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
3. Cookies, advertising and Google AdSense
Our own pages do not require cookies for reading content. However, third-party services we use may set cookies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info (US) or www.youronlinechoices.eu (UK/EU).
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland are shown a consent message before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy/consent link provided by that message.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how ads are displayed but will not prevent you from reading the Site.
4. Affiliate links
Some links on the Site are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer (for example Amazon or another merchant) may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Legal bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
We process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests (running and improving the Site, security, anonymised analytics), your consent (personalised advertising cookies, where required) and, for enquiries, to take steps at your request.
6. Data retention
Analytics records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted or aggregated. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for up to 24 months afterwards.
7. Your rights
UK/EEA residents have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of their personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office, ico.org.uk).
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Use the opt-out options in section 3 or contact us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email test@test.com.
8. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the UK/EEA) and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security and international transfers
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. Our service providers may process data outside your country; where required, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are used.
10. External links
The Site links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised.
